Hei,
I was lucky enough to receive SWRadiogram twice this week so I thought it would be interesting to show a side by side comparison of the reception of WRMI and WINB in my location.
WINB is 50kW with a 242 AZ on 9265KHz, 23:30 – 00:00 UTC, 16/05/2019
WRMI is 100kW with a 44 AZ on 7780KHz, 23:30 – 00:00 UTC, 13/05/2019
This means WINB is aiming away from me on a far-from-optimal frequency at half the power of WRMI which is targeted to my location … but how do they compare?
I’ll attach the received images to show you!
WRMI on the left and WINB on the right:
Decode failed on WINB
I think most of these results were expected aside from the last one, There is a possibility that it was somehow better than the WRMI broadcasts decode!
That’s all for this post, I hope you found it interesting!
I love it. This is one great way to show the difference in 2 stations when you have artifacts to stand side by side. Excellent work as always.
